In Providenza with Omar, Dorian edits his new film, “Loynes” a Kafkaesque courtroom drama, set in 19th-century Liverpool, which recounts the trial of a corpse that has neither name nor past. Dozens of people have gathered for the absurd ceremony.

Dorian Jespers

Born in Belgium in 1993, Dorian Jespers studied photography direction at INSAS before joining the contemporary arts institutes of KASK and Le Fresnoy. This fusion of visual research and artistic freedom has established itself as a pillar of his intimate and singular universe. His first project “Sun Dog”, written after a strange adventure in the Russian Arctic, was voted SFC Short of the Year 2020 after qualifying for the EFAs, Oscars and being selected for dozens of festivals where it won numerous Grand Prix awards, including the Rotterdam prize.

Omar Guzman

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1978, Omar is an editor who has participated in projects such as Eco de la Montana (2014 Nicolàs Echevarrias), Potentiae (2016 Javier Toscano), Navajazo (2014 Ricardo Silva), 13 Summers Under Water (2016 Victoria Szymanska), Està Todo Bien (2017 Tuki Jencquel) and the opera Turandot (2020, Ai Weiwei) among others.
